We were able to have a quick chat with Chief HR Officer Rebecca Styf Persson, who played a significant part in Hypergene choosing Skovik.

It was a success from the very start, Rebecca says when thinking back to the implementation of the system.

In the nearly 10 years that have passed, Skovik has continued to prove itself a good choice:

What’s been so great is that Skovik has been this stand-alone island that has always just worked. Even when we’ve changed other systems, we’ve never had to worry about it. That’s a major advantage to Skovik operating as its own independent system, it’s made it incredibly easy to work with, she says.

One joint system means fewer mistakes

Rebecca highlights the benefits of managing multiple subsidiaries in one system:

“Having just one system is incredibly valuable. As the final approver, it makes things a lot easier to have everything come into one place. You don’t need to search in multiple places, and that’s worth a lot. It reduces the risk of missing something or forgetting a task”.

Rebecca then expands on the system’s ease of use:

“What I appreciate most about Skovik is its simplicity and how easy it is to get an overview of the tasks you’ve got to complete. It’s both ahead of the curve and intuitive. That’s exactly what so many people need today, something that’s easy to use. It lowers the threshold for submitting expenses on time and entering the right information. It just becomes so much easier, which means it gets done”.

She goes on to say:

Most employees are well-versed with Skovik by now, but those of our new hires who haven’t used it before confirm how intuitive it is by settling in quickly. All I tend to hear about Skovik is how smooth and easy it is, and I take that as a very positive sign.

Having found what they need

It’s not just the system that Rebecca appreciates when it comes to Skovik, she also finds great value in the customer success team, she says:

“I’ve always felt, and I still feel, completely confident in the support you provide. You have so much experience with all the different accounting and payroll systems out there. And so far, I haven’t come across a single instance where you lacked experience with a question”.

She adds:

“This is exactly what you need. It’s the core of it. Getting support and help, and really professional support at that, delivered quickly and with dedication, that’s what you look for. Or at least that’s what I look for in a partnership, because that’s what I see this as”.

She wraps up her train of thought by circling back to the system’s ease of use:

“And it’s incredibly easy to work with. It’s really, really, really good. And for us, with the size of our organisation, and the amount we travel and the number of expenses and mileage we log, it’s absolutely the best option”.
